This month our featured artist is Aram Arslanian, a Portland/Vancouver–based musician, performer, and producer who regularly appears as a solo artist, lead guitarist for Taken By The Sky (Portland’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute), and a member of Vancouver’s Lincoln’s Beard. Recording under the moniker Orphan Train, he has released five albums of original music since 1998, including his most recent release Exiled, recorded at his Kingsley Garden Music Studio, where he also produces and records a wide range of regional artists. Before settling in the Pacific Northwest, Aram worked in Los Angeles as a TV and film composer and record producer, supporting artists such as Lisa Marie Presley (music director, 2002–03), Sandra Bernhard, Rilo Kiley, Fabian, The Watson Twins, Fernando, and James Low, while continuing to release his own critically acclaimed music.
