This week’s featured guest is our treasured Seattle veterans and Hall-Of-Famer, Phil Sparks!

Seattle bassist Phil Sparks is a longtime fixture of the Pacific Northwest jazz scene, having performed with many of the region’s leading musicians, including Ernestine Anderson, Julian Priester, Wayne Horowitz, Jim Knapp, and Floyd Standifer. He has also shared the stage with jazz luminaries such as Gene Harris, James Moody, Joe Henderson, Cedar Walton, and Randy Weston. A prolific recording artist, Sparks brings decades of experience, versatility, and a deep connection to the Northwest jazz tradition.
