Jazz Brunch
In partnership with the Seattle Jazz Fellowship, live music weaves through clinking glasses, shared bites, and unhurried conversations, every 1st and 3rd Sunday for Jazz Brunch.
This week’s featured ensemble is the Ann Reynolds Trio. Ann’s musical journey was transformed after her first trip to Cuba in 2000, where she studied piano and Cuban music at the National School for the Arts and developed a deep connection to the country’s culture and rhythms. Since beginning her work as a composer in 2004, she has created expressive original music rooted in movement and personal storytelling. Her compositions have been featured on Clave Gringa’s acclaimed albums “Para Cuba con Amor” and “Joy,” both nominated for Best Northwest Jazz Recording. Based in the Seattle/Puget Sound region, Ann performs widely and received the 2021 Earshot Golden Ear Award for Best NW Jazz Recording for her trio album “Inspired by Women Composers.”
Jazz Brunch at Salt Harvest blends sustainably sourced ingredients and hearth inspired cooking with the rhythms of live local jazz, creating a celebration of Pacific Northwest flavors meant to be savored.
