Pioneer Square Art Walk Exhibition: Studio Golden
Join us in the Art & Music Room at Populus in Pioneer Square during Seattle’s iconic 1st Thursday Art Walk. From 6–10 PM, explore a thoughtfully curated guest exhibition featuring bold visual works by multi media artist Studio Golden!
Mo Golden is a painter and ceramic artist based in Olympia, Washington, whose interdisciplinary, socially engaged practice has been featured in group exhibitions at The Copper Wolf Gallery, The Washington Center Gallery, Marmo Gallery, and Childhood’s End Gallery, as well as solo shows at Momentum Gallery, Bar Francis, and The Cork Gallery; she is a recipient of the Olympia Art Space Alliance Grant, Working Washington Grant, the Jim Joseph Fellowship, and the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship, and has been featured in The Seattle Times, Seattle Magazine, and South Sound Business Magazine. She is the founder of Studio Golden, a downtown Olympia design house translating her fine art into functional home goods, studied portrait painting in Spain and ceramics in Argentina, earned her undergraduate degree in visual and performing arts from The Evergreen State College, completed an MA in Education and Human Development at The George Washington University focused on immersive art learning, and is currently pursuing a PhD at The European Graduate School researching the role of artist residency programs for studio artists.
